Two things....

The renderings may not have been posted on this particular website but the developer had long ago presented plans to the Midtown DRC and to the city. But most importantly, Modera Midtown is in no way, shape, form or fashion similar to the scale of the tower in the PFVS rendering. Modera Midtown is just another of their many apartment projects around the country.

Their land development permit has been ready to issue since July 2015. So, technically, nothing is stopping them from getting started immediately on site preparation and infrastructure work. They just have to pay the fees and get the permit issued.

They would have to file a new building permit, however, for vertical construction as the previous one they filed was terminated about a year ago. This may have been a result of the alterations that were made to the building from what was originally planned.

Unless I missed it, I noticed there were no photos or renderings of Eviva anywhere on the website. I am hoping doesn't mean design change. I really like the design.

Could you tell me more about the project in this image? I tried to research it on my own but only came up with news regarding the Hines building at the other end of the complex...and this pictured building looks so great.

I'm curious if any new apartments would get started in Midtown....there are still huge "Now Leasing" signs on the Atlantic and Azure on the Park....I know Trace is not filled, not sure about Alta, Broadstone, You and Post, but assume vacancies at most still. Also rents have stabilized so demand has slowed....so....is the demand there? Granted CODA and NCR have not opened, but there could be a surplus in a year or so....then the economy could tank.

When I moved from Atlanta last month the leasing agent/manager at Alta Midtown said they had all but about 6 units left to lease in the entire project.

Curbed just posted a story on the 14th St. mid-rise project that was commented on earlier. Yes, the developer normally builds in the suburbs apparently.

A couple more views of the new Oliver McMillan office building that should be breaking ground shortly in Buckhead Village. If these renderings are accurate, if looks like Equinox Fitness Club should be joining the roster as well. It's just a matter of time before Midtown gets one as well.

I guess Oliver McMillan comes from Trump's camp. Also where are the handy-capable people represented in architectural renderings?
