God, I want to visit BA. Such an incredible city. It's hard to believe the whole place was pretty much built between 1875 and 1940, and it's still on a larger scale the most cities on the planet. AND it's beautiful, to boot.
..The city experience a large influx of immigrants, coming from Europe, that was second to NY during the same time period. Also the Argentina economy was at it's zenith. There was lots of wealth and a huge population explosion. And the city prospered and grew......And yes it is beautiful in appearance and it's people and culture. It is defiantly a foodie bonanza washed down with good Argentina wines..
