It took awhile, but we should see it hit near a floor a week now until closer to the top.

Thanks. I was in the area Saturday, but didn't have my phone. I'm going to love the tension between the new stunning tower and the old brick building, plus the beautiful townhouses at the base. The contrast will be wonderful.
I am going to mostly love the photo on the bottom right. The new tower will block the less than pretty beige one and provide a wonderful vista to the north from my favourite park.

To each their own on the meaning of stunning and beautiful. One thing that's undeniable is the townhomes designs and towers contradict one another and not in a good way. Edmonton's not alone though.
For me it will come down to material use. There is some awkwardness, but also a connection to the south.

Still wished they would have incorporated the Stantec tower better with the residential portion. In this pic it hides the separation from the 2 sections.
Anyone know what's going on with that vacant lot on 122 Street just north of the old Planet Organic building? It's been vacant for over 10 years. A rezoning sign has been up for years. With PO having vacated the adjacent site and a bunch of vacant home across the street, you'd think the time would be right for infill?
