I took that close-up one above at nearly 8pm, Saturday night, and the construction elevator was still zooming up and down to the top, crews working. I think whether or not there was an issue-- going at it 6 days a week...and long days, things will get done soon enough.

I feel like I'm in 4th grade with all these rumors and stories whispered down the line...it's on track and will be done when they said it would, which is still months away. So much drama.

^Great views!

Not to start another rumor--but I think demolition of the Child Advocates building might have started this morning. A new fence is up in the parking lot, and the black fence in front of the building was being ripped up.
As a reminder, a demolition permit has been on the building since the spring.

So let the rumors begin, a step closer to ... Comcast 3 ...

I thought the Russell Byers Charter School was not moving.

If you want to start a suggestion, Liberty teams up with Russell Byers Charter School to expand space and STEM programs, and builds new Comcast Tower 3 around it.

I've been in contact with some administration at Russell Byers Charter school, and this idea was pitched to Comcast already. The last I heard, a few months ago, was that Comcast was very reluctant to take on the liability and new legal issues that surround partnering with a K-12 school. i would love to see it happen; I see it as a great opportunity for the school, and great civic recognition for Comcast. I don't know why they wouldn't want to jump at it.

Just to follow up from this morning - demolition did start on the Child Advocates building, and I saw a gentleman with a Liberty Property Trust hardhat walking around the site (the dude on the right).

That's a positive sign. Maybe we shall see the project proposal filed with planning commission/CDR by end of the year.
