I think it's a very bold and smart strategy to replace pretty much all our high-traffic intersections with single and multi-lane roundabouts. So smart that I fear that the whole plan won't be put into action. The first three roundabout sketches are going to be done, with Prince Philip at Alandale being the first conversion (which is the 3rd most dangerous intersection in the city), with Prince Philip/Thorburn/Columbus (the largest intersection in the city/province) being 5th.
You clearly have not experienced the Armdale Rotory in Halifax. I purposely avoided it at all costs when I lived there.
