Ponce City Market, The Georgian Terrace, The Biltmore, The Fox and The Ponce are examples of buildings that sat vacant, some for a number of years. I'm glad other people seem to have more vision than you since they have all managed to become great assets to their neighborhoods and the city.
While the Emory building isn't on the same level architecturally as these others, it's not a warehouse box either. With the installation of windows similar to the original ones, it too would be a neighborhood asset.
