Although I don't quite understand the appeal of UFC, getting a numbered event is a huge win and Edmonton is a very good demographic for it.

(I wish we could get the Indy back, do like Barcelona and have the track in the residential area of blatchford. One can only dream right)

Rogers Place adding more urinals, sinks, stalls to men’s bathrooms ahead of UFC fight
By Caley Ramsay

Work is expected to start on Tuesday and the plan is to have the new facilities installed in time for the UFC 215 event in September, the Oilers Entertainment Group confirmed to Global News on Thursday.

More urinals, stalls and sinks will be added to two men’s bathrooms that have been identified as high congestion areas – one on the main floor and one on the upper concourse.

Since Rogers Place opened last fall, one of the biggest complaints from patrons has been the bathroom situation.

First, the complaints were related to long lines for the women’s bathrooms. During the first two concerts at the venue, some people voiced concerns about long lines to use the women’s facilities.

When it came to adding more women’s facilities, Rogers Place said its studies found that the men’s washrooms were backing up the most.

On the main concourse, 19 toilets/urinals and nine sinks will be added for a total of 28 toilets/urinals and 15 sinks.

On the upper concourse, 16 toilets/urinals and 10 sinks will be added for a total of 34 toilets/urinals and 17 sinks.
My spidey senses tell me it still won't be enough.
Plus, no indication of specific number of toilets and specific number of urinals? Personally I think we need more of the former.

They should have built these washrooms accordingly in the beginning.

They pissed off a lot of customers.

The problem will now be wiped clean!!

A pity that there are no plans for an observation deck on the top floor of Stantec. Missed opportunity if you ask me.
