^ Alors là. C'est la Totale !
J'aime ce cliché, parce que bien souvent, l'Ouest du Skyline est moins visible en étant dans l'ombre du Mont-Royal.

Did 70 km of single track. Had a friend from Van come in and was pleasantly shocked by how good it was. Skyline Train and Farmers Daughter are my 2 new favorites. Back in the 80s we only had a few trails now there seem to be new ones each week. I helped cut most trails in Terwilliger and those are nothing compared to the new ones.

If you have access to Strava you can get quite a bit of info. Even paved trails give a good 60-70km workout with a few 14 and 15% grades.

Trailforks shows lots of trails, just hard to decide if they are as good as they say they are. The coulees here make for some good riding, so I assume it's the same up there.

Anyway, back on topic...

Concur. I can be on some pretty solid single-trac in 5mins from my condo Downtown. Biggest issues are hikers and trails being paved. We are to get a proper MTB course in Queen Mary Park in the next couple of years.

I'd love to see a thread about mountain biking trails in or close to cities.

Edit: I see you already started a new thread.
