^cool shot! there's an angle i've never seen before, and one that shows the buckhead village skyline by itself. interesting how similar the building heights are in that district. (also the gym i generally go to)

Ah thanks man. Yeah the new hotel went up quick. Also Hanover is making a nice impact on the village skyline. Definitely forming into its own little node.

When you create a post there's a picture of a mountain. Click that and enter the image URL address you copied from the image. Not the page URL. To keep the size in check, add a lowercase l before the .filename so the image doesn't show up as massive.

This is great news. This building fronts Hurt Park, and adding this many residences to the immediate vicinity will really help enliven the area. I live a few blocks away, and always welcome more residents. If the hotel project on Courtland, the apartment project over the parking deck for 191 Peachtree, and the student housing new tower on Courtland are started this year, we will really see big changes in that corridor.

Downtown is coming alive from north to south, and I love it.

Interestingly, it references an expansion of "greater than 250,000 square feet"? That is enormous. What am I missing?

Where did you find the reference to the expansion "greater than 250,000SF"? I believe there was an option to develop the surface parking lot on the corner as well - just hoping they don't add parking as that's the last thing this area needs - particularly right ON the streetcar line.

Let's not forget that this area once the Bellwood Quarry is completed will totally be different. I think it is a smart purchase as the Bellwood Quarry project move forward all the land any where near the project will become extremely expense.

I definitely see this happening because there are major economic incentives for developing in the Westside. Looks like they are building the website too...

The Bellwood Quarry is roughly 3 miles away from this project. That'd be akin to saying 10 years ago that the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park was going to really help Kirkwood. Unless you meant Rodney Cook Park? Both parks will definitely be a nice amenity for anyone moving / living in the area, but what these areas need is for the continued improvement of nearby neighborhoods such as Downtown, South Downtown, Castleberry, "West Midtown", etc. Adjacency to highly amenitized/desirable areas is what will drive growth / property values.

Anyone want to get in on buying up a few properties on east Boone? I see some solid ROI potential here... give it 5-6 years
