Had a meeting at the neighbourhood today, popped by Whole Foods to grab some lunch, and noticed Solo's 3rd and 4th building hoarding area. Seems like the demo work for the existing buildings are near complete. Let's see them digging very soon!

Yeah this one is a disaster. Since Burnaby is allowing highly visible towers that push 200 ft, it would be nice of they had a stronger design review process.

Are the floors above the crown usable or just mechanical space?

Hard Pass.... Over regulation on design process gives us City of Vancouver bullshit.

Ill take these minor design issues over that restrictive bullshit any day. Keep building high Burnaby! Remember the higher the building the closer to God! Amen

Disaster? Hardly. With the rate of building tall in Burnaby, you don't have to worry as this one will be a relatively diminutive tower in no time. Of course, this tower in Vancouver or North Vancouver would be viewed as a disaster for it's mountain-blocking capability.

It's been lit up every time I've seen it for the past month.

Cell Repeater

Anyone know when the third tower will be on sale and any towers near by including the Solo will put up those dame cell repeaters? I for one against it because it will always emit some sort of radiation. It's good to know before purchasing a unit.

Is your computer's wifi antenna shielded by a Faraday cage and a lead block?

Radiation is a pretty vague term. Even a light bulb emits "radiation". It's just the 3rd method of heat transfer. Coduction, convection and radiation...

The third tower is already sold out

Btw Everything emits radiation. Even we do!

It means that your cell phone uses less power to transmit, which is far more significant than any amount of radiation from transmission towers.
