Let's try this again since the last one didn't work. Saw this a couple days ago on the streets of Calgary.

Could be astroturf. Sadly I have seen that before in residential.

Fuck my Photobucket account keeps saying I need to update it for 3rd party sharing. Anyone know if this forum lets you share from Tumblr?

I hadn't noticed at first.

How can people live in such a place?

Vancouver specials are horrible, their only redeeming quality is they leave vast swathes of east van that can be developed into high quality row house neighbourhoods in the next couple decades with no loss to the city.

Perhaps for some... And that is not a request for instructions - they've been sent to me umpteen times and I don't understand them.

So far I like it much better than photobucket.

I saw this driving down the street 2 days ago.

Because no one cares about Knight St.

Honestly for all the things Vancouver does right with planning, a lot of it's SFH neighbourhoods are abysmal. Planners have only now really started to focus on SFH built form.

I link to photos hosted on Tumblr all the time, I'm not sure if they give a shit about it. Flickr allows it as long as you link back.

Upper Water Street retaining wall in downtown Halifax. This area will be re-graded when the adjacent Cogswell Interchange is demolished.
