maybe well hear some more announcements by than maybe they will change reendering for sutton hotel it may look even nicer than original drawing

also the 15 floor addition to bradburn bldg will add even more density.. still dont know whats planned for medical arts bldg either

A WFP article from back in December mentioned that the shell of tower 1 should be complete by August and tower 2 by November. That same article also mentions early 2018 for the start of Sutton.

Is the Bradburn Building site confirmed or still speculation?

I don't think anybody has ever stated that there will be a 15 storey addition. Also, I seriously doubt the existing structure could support such an addition.

no that money is being used for more than just that public space its used for street scaping that whole area around the mts center and shed distrct.. even the area around sutton hotel will be street scaped with that money.. lighting huge tv screens. sky walks all that stuff adds up 16 mill may seem steep but itll prolly cost alot more..

Seriously? That is where they chose to put the construction cam? The reflection is the shits. It looks like someone stuck their iPhone in between the dual glazing panels in the Hydro Tower. I know, I know...a Winnipegger complaining but there really was a lot of detail in the former cam.

Oh well, I sure it is only us nerds that really appreciate it anyways.

.......i'm not a nerd

^Thanks for the clarification Cheswick.

On the cam, I didn't want to complain. But you cant see much.. There is something on top of the solar chimney, I noticed yesterday. Thought maybe it was the new cam. But I guess not.

The view from the cam looked fantastic yesterday evening when the sun was setting, but yeah... they may have to rethink the positioning given the effects of the morning/midday sun.

Maybe tape the iPhone to the exterior of the Hydro building?

Thanks for that. I thought I was losing my mind. I remembered it looking fine when I saw it earlier and now it's total glare.

They need to put up a black sheet behind the camera to eliminate the glare from the blinds and floor. That would help immensely. And clean the window too.

All these demands from an internet looky lou. I know hahah..
