Harbour Plaza complex is very pretty and futuristic.
I am so happy to see them added in the skyline.
But it will be more exicting to see Bay park Centre and
1 Yonge phase 1 coming in the next 3 years.

Harbourplaza and Ten York, just keep us occupied until Bay Park Center gets going.

This will be the first real skyscraper to go up in Toronto in 30 years, at least since Scotiabank.

They are getting ready for Monday, official ground breaking.

Walked past Massey this morning - they've started the balcony railing installation already - yet there's no sign of any of the exterior cladding going in.

Scotia Plaza, 275 metres, was completed in '88, TD Canada Trust, 263 metres, was completed in '90.

Probably want to get a leg up on the railings as they still haven't finished Five.

I like the south tower, not a fan of the north tower at all.

Construction kicks off on Bay Street mega-development, set to include towers, bus terminal, park
CIBC Square, located next to Union Station, is slated to be completed by 2023
By Kate McGillivray, CBC News Posted: Jun 21, 2017 3:15 PM ET Last Updated: Jun 21, 2017 3:15 PM ET

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday for a major new development at the foot of Bay Street that will house the global headquarters for CIBC and incorporate a bus terminal and one-acre park built over the railway tracks.

The public-private development, previously called Bay Park Centre and now renamed CIBC Square, will see two office towers erected at 81 and 141 Bay Street, south of Front Street.

Ontario Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca described the inclusion of a bus terminal, called the Union Station Bus Terminal and linked to GO trains, TTC and Via Rail, as "fundamentally important" for Toronto.

Mayor John Tory was also on hand for the ceremony, saying: "I love the towers, I love the transit connections, I love the jobs… but I'm particularly interested in the park."

So now we have a a 264.6m and a 238.5m to ad to the list.

CIBC signed the contract for two towers, but only one is starting now, because the old bus terminal is on the other lot. Once the first tower with the new bus terminal is built, they can start to work on tower number 2.

The bus terminal alone isn't going to delay construction. Staggering the construction allows the developer more time to lease the remaining blocks of space one tower at a time and CIBC to have less of an overlay with their outgoing and incoming lease terms.

I think it's up to date.

There's also a custom search function in the diagram section. Check it out.

Current top 10: http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=113689

The Harbour Plaza twins will be finished soon, as will 88 Scott.
CIBC Square will join the list at #2.
E Condos S and Wellesley on the Park will move into #9 and #10.
