You have to admit that it is a whole lot better than the skyline in the early 1970's when the tallest buildings were the Scotia Square Duke and Barrington towers. Too bad this wasn't the skyline back in the early 1970's, just imagine what it would look like now.
Not having 30+ storey towers in downtown Halifax doesn't bother me, I think the density is more important (along with the history and scenery). I have been to many cities with tall buildings, such as Toronto, but building density stands out more than the height, in my opinion. Toronto not only has tall buildings but has a high density of buildings, on the other hand, a 50 storey tower in Mississauga is hardly noticeable because the towers are so spread out.
