If this is true then it is sad to see Domo go. If student housing is to fill the south half of the block then it seems a little more attention should be given to street presence between there and campus. Then again I have been waiting forever for something to happen on that lot. They have already started moving earth. For soil tests I assume.
Are you sure about student housing being built south of 14th Ave? Looking at the plans for 'Wellington Apartments', it makes me think that they may actually be the student housing. Based on those plans, 211 of the 253 units are four bedroom apartments, with another five 3-bedroom, and 23 2-bedroom units. That is a lot of bedrooms for a typical apartment being built in Denver today.

Good point but according to what has been presented to the Lincoln Park Neighborhood Association there are 2 separate projects proposed for the 1400 block of Osage, both on the west side and spanning the entire block between them. Here is a copy of a next door thread with the names redacted for privacy:

Hello neighbors!
Anybody know what is going on the plot of land at osage and colfax next to Domo? Land has been vacant since the dinosaurs were roaming. Kinda exciting to see some action going on there.

No, the Student Housing complex is at the other end of he block. 14th and Osage. Domo is unfortunately getting torn down. So there will be 2 complexes on the 1400 block of Osage. Big Time Density

I haven't seen a proposal YYYYYY. The LPNA knows who the builder is, I will see what info I can gather for you.

A 300 floor urban boutique loft complex, complete with a Starbucks and Jamba Juice every 15 feet.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE from Baker · 1d ago
Are you serious about Domo???!!!!???? But...Aikido.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF from Lincoln Park · 1d ago
A friend went to Domo to ask what was up. They said that Domo currently doesn't want to sell. The lot adjacent to Domo will be developed and the developer offered to buy Domo, but they are holding out right now.

My understanding is that domo sold. And a collegiate housing complex is going there

My friend went there for lunch today and the server said that they got an offer but turned it down.

Hope I didn't clutter up the thread too much but this all seemed relevant.

P.S. anyone wanting to unmask any of the individuals above should file a FISA request.

Anyone know what's going on at 24th & Stout behind the Xcel substation? The lot is fenced off and excavation is currently underway.

I've been hearing rumors of a potential mid-rise condo tower next to the Governor's Mansion on Logan, anyone know anything?

The plans certainly look like the project is apartments positioned as student housing. Also, here's a rendering from the architects page:

Nice. They can change their name to the Adams County Post and call it a day.

Wonder how those facts came out of the hearing.

On the bright side, they're only a block from River North Brewery. Oh, and there's a McDonald's just down the street!

What the Post down to at their building? A floor? Half a floor?

Hotel on Champa

Wow. But what about the coal stack? I'll kinda miss that touch of old-time Denver. Otherwise, intriguing infill.

I think someone asked this earlier: Any update on the redevelopment of the RTD bus station on Market? It's getting pretty forlorn in that block.

With Dairy Block wrapping up this should be the new favorite project.

Speaking of Dairy Block:

Hopefully a downtown Apple store would follow.

Interesting. But how much better would it be if Apple decided to build their own store somewhere in the vicinity?

A W Hotel was being discussed for this building a couple years ago (after being planned for 16th & Market back in 2008). I don't know if that is still the case though but it would be a nice addition.
