I love it. Hit Chimney Coffee last Saturday morning, and walked over. Once the trees mature and we get a good rain so the lake bed fills, it'll be gorgeous.

I saw our "Queen" at night, she is a real beauty.
It's a game changer.

I remember people complaining about the reflection. Ryan Leaderman, an attorney representing EYP Realty said once:
“The installation of the very reflective glass is a clear violation of the conditions of approval for the Wilshire Grand project."

What's the next NIMBY complain?
People can't sleep because of those LED lights?

It wasn't that long ago the commercial exchange bldg's first floor consisted of nothing but abandoned spaces below an old rusty sign of a former italian restaurant. not to mention the bldg's large decrepit blade sign before it was restored.

Any person coming upon areas like that....which originally were plentiful throughout dtla.....would think they had stumbled into a rustbelt city of the industrial midwest.

not a second too soon in finally seeing ppl....investors, owners & businesses.....cleaning up locations like that.

this features a location way beyond the border of dt.....but it's important in the way it involves another site on fig not too far away from all the new devlpt like oceanwide plaza, the avant apt bldgs, the 2 proposed hotels or towers, including the replacement of the city lights apt bldg, built in the early 2000s.......

Rendering of the new Honda of Downtown LA in Expo Park. Toyota's new facility is also well on its way further up Figueroa.
