Oh come on. I know your name is kwoldtimer but clearly you aren't going into a Residence Soleil any time soon. I just find their ads horrible and unintentionally funny. They're meant to be endearing but look depressing. And Eddy Savoie looks like he belongs in a care facility himself. Every picture of him he looks befuddled and like he doesn't know where he is. His claim of being worth 1.5 Billion dollars also seems to verge on the delusional side.
I've only flown WestJet and Porter. On those airlines, the meal is a bag of chips and half a can of pop. In the airlines' defence, though, they're damn good chips. And Porter actually gives you the whole can.
They're probably parsnip, they're like carrots but a little more earthy with a slightly purfumy aftertaste. They're in with cilantro in that "you either love them or hate them" category. Unlike cilantro, I hate them.

Porter also gives you as many full cans of beer or glasses of wine as you want for free! I have tested this limit on a delayed friday evening flight back from Thunder Bay so I could meet my friends at a bar shortly after landing.
