Such a disappointing loss, especially after rallying back to tie the game. A bad bounce and an iffy offside call after that did them in.

But it's only 1 game out of a 7 games series, and the Oil still have the 2-1 series lead.

Talbot had a poor game after being lights out in the last game, but I expect him to bounce back for the next game. Same thing happened in the last series vs San Jose - he had 2 shutouts in a row, badly craps the bed in the next game, then came back to win the series.

This is exactly how Anaheim had to come out/play.

Next game is the series game. I just hope the Oilers don't assume they will come out and win because it happened before. Anaheim is better than San Jose.

As far as this game just flush it and be ready for the next one

Ugh what a frustrating game. Letting the a goal in 20 seconds after tieing the game killed the momentum they had, and then that offside call completely sealed the deal. I'm so sick and tired of seeing officiating go in favor of American teams. I don't know call me crazy and I may be completely wrong, but that was complete bullshit and IMO was done on purpose to give the game to the Ducks. Seen the exact same thing happen against the Preds in the regular season, it happens way too often.

End rant, move on to next game.

^ Yeah ... Ebs is sleep walking his way out of here. What, put you back on with McJesus and you still can't be bothered to get out of bed ...

Officiating is awful - but not to blame for the end-result.

Give this one to Carlyle - great coaching. McLellan won't get out-coached again.

Oh, and the Quacks can't keep up this pace - indeed - they looked pooped in period three of only the third game.

Let them whine and dine in Kelowna. Can't stand to stay in ewwww, Edmonton apparently.

Would you want to stay in an away city where every hockey crazed fan knows who you are so they can bug you? Smart move on their part to get away for a couple of days.

Maybe smart if the whole world doesn't know.

Sportsnet fixed that.

BTW, Kelowna airport is closed by fog more than any airport with scheduled service in Canada.

I would have to agree - Both his and RNH contracts are too big to handle

RNH is playing well and is a center so he stays.

The playoffs are a good measuring stick as to who can go to the next level

Plus, you gotta sign Drai and McDavid as well so you need to make room somewhere, somehow.

True enough. Shouldn't have said anything but...what's done is done.

yes those will be big contracts - at least 10 for McDavid and 6 for Drai.

With Lucic that is 22 Million for 3 players.

That is going to be a very tough call, all exceptionally deserving.

Yah what a loser comment by Carlyle, basically trolling. I 100% guarantee you for every weak penalty they MAY have called off of McDavid, there's 5 uncalled penalties.

I'm still pissed about Lucic's penalty in game one. Getzlaf is seen whacking McDavid's legs three times after a whistle by around Talbot. Lucic comes and shoves Getzlaf away, Getzlaf then whacks Lucic's legs. And Lucic only was sent off for roughing. Fuck off.

If anything, the refs are turning a blind eye on Getzlaf's inappropriate plays.
