I thought someone had stated in the past that it was to be one of the final sections to be built as low rise office or retail, but reviewing the application from 2013 the station is still ghost rendered in place with a large opening facing the station in the adjacent section currently under excavation. Likely nothing more than one or two floors could be built there.
Which still gives me hope for a cool restaurant or pub in the renovated station
That open area under the roof would make a great outdoor dining area or enclosed with windows. They also won't need the parking pad as there will be parking under the tower so they have room to expand the structure to have a microbrewery.
What's the plan for that leftover tiny section of alley?
