I can't believe the city of Toronto would allow such a hideous addition. Have they no standards for such projects? Public consultations? Really dumb.

And those telegraph wires or whatever running the sight of the box addition, double fail.

Can't do much about the hydro lines on a streetcar route, also they are below the new addition.

Ahh yes, Glassmasters. With the charming radio ad tag line: "Show Us Your Crack!" Every city has an area and a need for these kinds of businesses, but Centre St. is especially ugly.

I bought this at the new Save-on-Foods in Okotoks and thought of you O-tac.

It's looks bad. It's not complete either. Fingers crossed they have a reno of the lower floors planned too.

^Just needs a bit of cleaning up on the bottom. Could extend the deck portion and have a great outdoor seating area for the residents. Overall I think the concept has a lot of promise even if the execution as it stands right now is a little suspect.

The trolley wires are what they are. Part of the fabric and while unsightly in that photograph, show the trolley going by and many would be enamoured at the quality of the urban experience. So evil, but still cool.

The trolley wires could look cleaner if the all hydro connections to the buildings were underground but they aren't. (for now)

Matching windows, railings and bringing the addition's cladding down over the brick would do a lot to tie everything together. Yep. Nothing major.
