I recently heard very encouraging news and that things have very quietly progressed further than I had thought. It definitely wont start in spring though.

I know everyone wants credible sources listed but I cannot.

There's also some progress on Fortress's Harmony Village project in Barrie being reported this afternoon.

Into the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, but still.

Theres always going to be issues with whatever project, but the timeline and issues this project poses--Winnipeg deserves a better developer for this project. We all want Sky City to be built....but not from Fortress.
It would be amazing if some reputable company took over.

Well, if the St. Regis is supposed to start being demolished in July, is that the official start date?

I wouldn't give it to them. But then we've been looking at the incompetence for a little longer than Winnipeg has.
