Yeah I would say that the exhibits are interesting. We have been a few times with the kids so I haven't had a chance to do all the reading about the items that I would like to but there are some really fun rooms. For example, there is one room where you can learn to play songs on the bass, drums, keyboard and guitar (it's really interactive and is taught at a beginner, intermediate and expert level). There are a couple of spots where you can work on sound mixing, a full drum set and piano that you can learn to play on. There are also 2 recording booths where you can sing along to some songs. Also a room full of instruments that you can play. The third level has this amazing renovated organ that they play a couple times a day in weekends.
Honestly, the building is stunning. If you think the exterior looks awesome, the exterior will blow your mind. The acoustics are absolutely phenomenal. For example, the first time we visited we walked in to the amazing sounds of jazz, having never been there before I just thought it was being played through the speakers. We were informed that there was a jazz ensemble playing on the uppermost level of the building but it sounded so amazing.
The place is a jewel, the only thing I would say is that they need to have some sort of alt-exhibition space. I suspect that once you have gone twice you would feel like you have seen everything. So return visitors would drop.
Not DJing too much these days. Wish I had the time to throw down!
