It's unit 127 in that new condo that just got built. Not sure what their "official" street address will be. The area might be nice but please don't call it LoLo.

lol yes that would be an odd location. It's in Fairborne's First Street West project just off of Lonsdale.

Well, at least they're keeping us entertained while we wait for the new place to open.

If they have enough money for a poster they might at least be able to stay open for a year or two.

a 3rd location of Honolulu coffee is opening in May.

Quote:
Luckily for us, Honolulu Coffee chose Vancouver to say aloha to for its first North American location in June 2016. As if that wasn’t enough, this coffee chain has since opened a second in Kerrisdale (2096 West 41st Avenue), with a third on the way (548 West Broadway at Cambie Street) to open in May.

The company draws its Kona coffee from its own 80-acre farm in Hawaii and roasts its own coffee in order to create the desired flavour profile and quality. Its 100-percent-Kona pour-over coffee, best taken black, features notes of strawberry and lime.

Is it just me or is that old Mongolian (?) Place across from the Broadway-City Hall station going to be an A&W and not a Chipotle. There's orange A&W-esque steel going up with gray paint behind it.

Stranger Things

I would be slightly surprised if it was an A&W, given that there is one at Broadway and Willow. Then again, stranger things have happened (memories of the kitty corner Star Bucks and Esso stations come to mind)

Well it's an A&W confirmed now. They're hiring for a "Opening Soon - Now Hiring" location at 467 W Broadway.

There's another up the block near City Hall. I could see all three staying open just looking at the volume, but most likely Willow would shut down. But hiring for a new location instead of transferring everyone from that other store might be a clue.

the A&W at the main street station looks like a weird layout when looking at it from the street.

It's not meant to hang around in, much like the Starbucks across the street. There is a long bar to eat at though.

I am addicted to buddy burgers.

Oh wow, an A&W living right next to Wendy's while McD is just a few stores away... Looks like there would be some great burger fights on that alley.

Yeah, Fatburger still seems to be open. And White Spot I guess will reopen up near City Hall as well.

McDonalds should move into the Lululemon space.. it would be a much better (larger) spot.

Embrace LoLo my friend... let the yuppie flow through you.

And yeah Earnest will be in the middle of this building, just off Lonsdale. Finally won't have to drive all the way to Fraser.
