You mean more skyscraper, because height always seems to be the issue, as if anybody gives a shit if Edmonton or Montreal builds the 250th tallest building instead of the 280th. People who really do care will go to China, Dubai, NYC and not piddle around with Canada.

Besides, 45/50 threads on the first page have nothing to do with skyscrapers so I think the site name may be a little misleading.

It would be nice, just because tall skyscrapers can be spectacular, but nobody really cares here in Montréal.

Montreal should be banned from this thread...

How could I possibly feel good about where I live if I keep seeing THAT every time I switch on the interwebs?

Very impressive Toronto set! I love "Snowy Night on College Street" best.

There are really only two things left that I want to visit in Newfoundland - I've done the rest. I want to do the circumnavigation cruise, which emphasizes the roadless south coast, and the coastal ferry up the Labrador coast.

This guy did the south coast portion.

He also did Ramea, which oddly does have roads despite being further isolated on an island.

I'd love to do one of those coastal cruises. Not sure about hanging out with wanker tourists though.

Mid-October lunch meander between Metros Mont Royal and Sherbrooke. Big shadows.

You take great pictures, OutOfTowner! And darn do I love that Saint-Jean-Baptiste church. It's so massive.

Also, great sets of Toronto (I especially found that Gerrard St. shot in East Toronto spectacular) and the coast of NL!

Now, say hello to RIMOUSKI, the tiny metropolis of Eastern Québec. The city is the de facto capital of the regions of Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie and a part of Chaudière-Appalaches named Côte-du-Sud. It has a college (CÉGEP), a university (UQAR) and is hosting the Institut Maritime du Québec.

As of July 2016, the town had an estimated population of 49 212, and the CA was 56 156 (including the villages of Saint-Anaclet, Saint-Valérien, Saint-Narcisse and Saint-Fabien).

I just love Rimouski, one of my favourite city in Québec. I just wish their Metro area has 100k, I think eastern Québec deserves it.

Thanks Laceoflight. Have yet to master the new camera but I'm working on it. Might rent a car and road trip to Rimouski this summer, it looks great.

There's a small museum at the bank. History of Canadian currency, BMO, etc.

Love that lighthouse. I wish we had more large scale lighthouses like south of the border.

How can you say that when you know that MTL bans Souperdupertaalls?

If only we had a Souperdupertaall, life would be so much better!

Took this very very low quality, quick phone pic for my friend SignalHillHiker a few minutes ago (he is, after all, the one and only reason I even recognized that sticker)

Newfie pride!
