I can see a skyline, no where has it been defined in this thread as to what qualifies as a valid skyline and what doesn't.

This website is called 'skyscraperpage' not 'skypage' so it's implied.

Really? So others can post up pictures in this thread that have a skyline but no skyscrapers but I do it and it's all of a sudden not okay? Why the double standard?

Believe it or not but one can stand in many places in Nose Hill Park which is completely surrounded by Calgary and not even see a wisp of Canada's third largest city around them.

Well I hope not, if you could see Vancouver anywhere near Calgary there'd be a serious problem, no?

A hill is not a skyline. A hill is a horizon.

Well nobody should be posting pictures with out skylines in a "Skyline" Thread. I don't recall seeing any though. It's a very nice little hill though.

Vancouver is not the third largest city in Canada and in fact, there are only three Canadian cities that are above one million in population.

People need to look up the definition of skyline. I will cease and desist with some of my favorite skylines just because my practices seem to be rocking this thread just a wee bit too much for some. Their loss.

There are plenty of other threads to post images of a city and its parks.

Why not post these pics there? They are nice pictures after all.
