Makes no sense... TNS certainly exceeds SkyCity in scope, and 300M is a much more complete final product... and larger in scale perhaps when you consider all the work constantly being performed on the entire block by Artis, such as the re-cladding of 360M, the overhaul of 220 Portage, the central portion in between both towers and any potential overhaul of the Winnipeg Square.

I was at 220 Portage the other day and noticed they have destination dispatch elevators now - where you enter the floor you're going to on a keypad and it tells you what elevator number to get on. Were the elevators really inefficient there before?

Not really inefficient, but they ARE more efficient now. It reduces the avg number of stops per ride by 1-2 depending on the desired floor, and minimizes stray wanderers by adding a light layer of security.

It's also helped by not having 6 floors of GWL staff on constant smoke break!
