^Welcome to the forum!

Best way to follow the progress of these buildings is just to check back regularly. There are frequent pictures and information posted within these threads.

thx - I've been following this forum when I can and have seen the postings. I was hoping for a regular, say weekly photo and flr count, especially since it doesnt seem the bldr does that, nor appears to be in any rush, at least as far as the residential bldgs are concerned.

There used to be a live webcam of the construction site (And was even posted here, I think - you might want to click back through the pages to see if it's still up).
Don't know if it's still up, but you might also want to check the Brentwood town website (they had one too), as it'll be your best hope of getting some sort of visual weekly (daily, hourly, by the second) update, and you'll get better luck with that than hoping someone keeps regularly taking photos and counting floors.

Here's the webcam, but the angle varies and doesn't show much sometimes:

Did you say 63? As in, for real, 63 floors?! Unless you're kidding me, that's a mind-blower. I though the highest was 56 or such.

If we count those omitted floors which contains number "4"

Nice pix. I saw pix from Jan 29 and compared to these just posted on feb 28 it seems only 2 flrs have been added. That's 1 flr per 14 cal days. Seems short of the 7-8 works day/flr noted previously

The floorplate is actually much smaller than Altus

But that would only be a smaller floorplate than the office portion of Altus, not the condo portion.
The floorplate is pretty large for a condo (especially for a square floorplate rather than a slab)
- you can tell because the floorplans for the units have rear bedrooms with no windows.
Also remember though that some of that width is from the wraparound balconies.

That's not allowed anymore. ("omitting" floors because,....reasons)

So if it says 63, then it's 63 actual floors.

The floor numbering for said floors in the building might use some other nomenclature (like roman numerals or letters or whatnot), but as far as the city is concerned 4th floor (or 13th or 14th or 24th etc) is 4th floor.

Yes and no. It depends on when this got approved. If this got approved before Burnaby changed that bylaw then it might have omitted floors

If you go back and look at the public hearing and zoning documentation Amazing 1 and 2 are 56 actual floors. Marketing made them 63
