Summersm said that this was just a protective covering back when I complained how mismatched the braces seemed to be. I don't think this is such a big deal at all. And a corporation like Comcast surely has the funds to maintain this building.

My buddy told me that when they incorrectly poured the core off plumb that effected the reflective tint of those braces, that’s why you see blue and then silver, that too is the reason for the delay, they’re getting the core plumb again , that should fix this blue coloring tint issue. Its essentially just an optical illusion. Once this is all fixed they plan on releasing more info on Comcast 3 tower too. Its all interconnected.

What if I were to tell you that there is currently a redesign causing this delay, would you want to know why? Also that Comcast has a strong belief in Dirigibles as a viable mass transit alternative hence the roof deck bracing and future station for the ships. Is that something you would be interested in ? If so, lets skip the back and forth and PM me your info for a marketing brochure I got my hands on, include your SSN, mother maiden, and first pet’s name so I can get the marketing material out quicker.

Wrong. They have saved the best for last. It's been very hush hush, but they will be stacking a 10 floor Wendy's on top adjacent to the cooling tower.

My friend's dad works for Equus, and he says that the apparent word on the street is that they accidentally made the top of the bottom half, up to where the sky garden is, wider than the base, and they've stopped all progress.

I don't personally buy into it, but if that ends up being it I can say I called it.


Could also be that they're adding another floor to the top. I hear they've been considering that for awhile.

Third-hand rumor from a FB group today: "Comcast tower is 11 inches off from center and they may have to cut the final height slightly as a result."

Anyone have any verified info of anything actually amiss? I'm puzzled as to how any of these rumored scenarios could actually occur with the modern software technology used in designing buildings.

Seriously? It's like Millennium tower all over again. Will be interesting to see if they did good something here, but it seems bizare that such things could happen in this day and age. What kind of foundations does this thing stand on? Rock socketed cassions?
