For the entire metro area, including Richmond and Delta, to be fully blanketed with such a thick layer of snow on a sunny afternoon is not an every year event to say the least.

PS, I really love the Toronto pics on the page. Especially the first one, the depth of towers in that image does look like a mega city. Very nice.

It's not recent, but it's always an interesting point of view. I wish I could have a hot air balloon to photograph it next summer...
You can see Montreal in the background and St-Jean-sur-Richelieu's highest built structure (the silos in the foreground, height of 69m.)

Despite the new wave of towers, i'm glad to see that the CIBC and PVM will continue their visual dominance of the skyline. Those two towers are spot-on. Still un-beaten.

It is interesting to see all that amber street lighting in the Montreal pictures - is there a move afoot there to start moving to LED?
