If the plants live and thrive then I'll have a little more green to see in my view.

well if it is, i wouldn't call it much of a "wall." green accents would be more fitting unless they add it to all the non-windowed part.

I'm wondering because I don't see any other brackets being installed and placement of the plants should/would be the last step in the whole process...
... and maybe they don't want to cover the windows and vents...

Even if they don't cover any windows or vents, it could be at least 3x as wide

Hope the metal grates won't peel paint and rust. Can't imagine how they will be maintained when creepers cover them. Also, the creepers look like ivy. Used to have couple of pots of ivy planted in my balcony, and I do know that they wilt after a while, especially if the planter runs out of root-space, or that they don't get enough watering.

Personally, I think all that spent on this can be used to create better paving in the alleyway, landscaping features and funky lighting.

... or fixed, non-plant screen or low-maintenance surface treatment.

Pic by me today.

So does that rooftop pavilion breach / intrude on the view cone (by exceeding the height of the Scotia Tower view shadow),
or is it not visible past the edge of the roofline?

And the placement of the office tower.

This development is the epitome of the concept 'over-promise and under-deliver'

Are the lonely lanterns coming back?

The scaffolding is gone from the alley - just swing stages now - so
1) I guess that the "green" wall is substantially complete; and
2) the overhead area is clear to reinstall the lanterns (if they can get them to work re: previous power supply issues).

Pics by me today:

You can see aluminum cladding that will seal / frame the area around the vents.
Should look pretty awkward.

Whoever designed that second skin should give Telus a refund.

Peered into the ramen place when the doors were open the other day.
There's a lot of brick veneer everywhere - which will contrast a lot to the modern exterior of the building.

That green wall trellis is seriously a pathetic attempt to put lipstick on a pig.

Pics by me today - sidewalk is poured.

Looks like some of those alcoves will be very deep doorways.
