The tower will want to "lean" towards the bridge, so I guess that's the side of the core that'll be "in tension" holding up the tower!

That triangular corner looks like it'll be some kind of underground vault (hydro?).

Looks like they made a change since the DP stage.
There was that triangular "bench" deep in the underground levels, which is not shown on those plans.

Im still curious why they left that one corner and then go back and tie in. S few sites have old tunnels that have right away. example in burnaby site has a bench do to train tunnel

Much faster even though both buildings started around the same time.
