Do you guys remember the 1980ish arcade game: "Space Invaders"? This looks akin to a sideways view of one of the space invaders. Lol!

Couple of tidbits from the top. There is a 99.9% chance that training camp 2017 will be held in Regina instead of the usual Stoon. Just a one off to celebrate the new stadium. Also the new Riders Store at the new stadium opens the 2nd week of February.

I was wondering when the fence will come down, but I"m guessing around that time. Also, when do the team offices start to move in from Albert and Dewdney?

On another note, it doesn't appear any decommissioning has taken place yet at Taylor Field. I wonder when that work will start (not necessarily demolition, but removal of signage, etc.)

At Taylor Field the two end zone stands and boxes will be dismantled and sent to already chosen sites around the province. The Maxtron will be moved to Leibel Field. The same company that will be tearing down the old barns at Evraz will be taking down the old stadium. I do not know the start date of demolitions (likely when the endzone seats are removed)

That Maxtron will look enormous at Leibel Field! Is the secondary video board (on the top of the west stands) spoken for?

So looking at this photo it appears the concourse at the very top of the endzone upper deck wraps around and connects with the second level of the suites/club seats/pressbox that run the length of the field. Is that the case?

Nice photo by the way.

It would be nice to have some photos here of the gradual demolition/dismantling of Old Mosaic.

I believe that is the case. The indoor space directly behind the top section of north end zone seats are the Rider admin offices. They have a section of private concourse with outdoor seating (if I recall correctly) and then I think the rest connects to the suite level on the east side, although I'm open to correction on that.

They likely won't start demolition until the admin offices have moved and endzone stands have been dismantled and shipped to their new homes.

I think that's about right except it connects to the West. The East separated by the gap.

WEST SIDE, yes, my error. Thanks for correcting it. (This must be why I keep failing the airplane navigator courses. Lol)

On the news the other day they said that demolition will likely start in the late fall/early winter

Front office staff moved from the old stadium to the new one today. Business office personnel relocate from the old bank at Albert and Dewdney over the weekend.
