Construction elevator starting to go up. 2nd floor windows mostly finished.

I work at one of the buildings nearby so if any of you want specific photos just ask and I can try to take them on my way home.

About half ways to the first setback by the looks of where they're at right now. The black is going to look amazing IMHO but only if it can remain pristine.

Starting to poke it's head above the Convention Centre now when looking west. Keep rising!

First time poster, been lurking since 2005ish (whenever Sasso tower was built). I thought they were going to reclad the two buildings next door. Is that still in the works?

I'm rather surprised that this one doesn't have a webcam.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but is there really a real purpose for a construction web cam?

Perhaps some large telecommunications company would be able to do it with ease .. And for cheap!

*looks at building name*

How expensive can it be? One camera with a live feed or static images updated every few minutes uploaded to a website Telus Sky is already paying for. Each of 707 Fifth, Brookfield, City Centre, the new library got the webcam treatment. I doubt it busted their budgets.

the Brookfield exterior is pretty much done, can they not just re-angle this webcam to face Telus sky?

I'm not arguing about cost but to whose benefit said camera would be. Trust me, I wouldn't mind seeing a web cam either but if it really serves no purpose other than to entertain spectators then I don't see the point.

The original plan was for the Len Werry building to be reclad, but I doubt it will happen.

Usually the developer does the webcam. I bet there is one for Telus Sky, they have just kept it private for now...
