That corner of Downtown behind the Broad Museum (1st and Central area) is so odd. It is so disconnected from the rest of Downtown it may as well be on a different planet.

All of Bunker Hill is like that (outside Grand Ave). It's a pedestrians nightmare really.

It was taken at 3PM. It's been hazy like that a lot over the last few weeks. Whether its fog or smog doesn't make much difference to me, the simple fact is LA's air is far more poisonous & unhealthy than anyone wants to believe.

As someone that can remember back when we had lots of hazy days that were smoggy and not foggy like we have now I can't fathom anyone not having a preference for fog over smog. Unless I'm misunderstanding you it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Is city government having decent architectural taste to control output effect of DTLA skyline? Turn DTLA into another DT Toronto that cannot even identify an North American style skyline any more.

Outstanding updates! I know it is said all the time but Downtown really needs a few more green spaces.
