Why the hell do you need to put up a construction fence for a 4K sqft. sales center? Speaking of construction fences - I'm looking at you Eviva. Either get some equipment onsite working or take the fence down.

The Midtown DRC should have some rules on when construction fences can be put up and for their intended purpose (not advertising). Just my $0.02 for Tuesday, December 13th.

CODA is the like the uncanny valley of buildings. I can't put my finger on it, but it hurts my brain.

I think that it's hurting the brain of the architects as well because they keep trying to freshen the design without much success. It's not really bad, but it's no really good either - it's just missing something.

Too much massing. They should have broken up the huge building more.

Note sure why the Data Computing center (low-rise monolithic structure) could not have been integrated into 3rd and 4th floor of the main building with separate secure elevator access and then just have a massive open plaza where the building was Data Computing center was located.

Currently they seem to be stuffing people in between two buildings which tends to look more like a pedestrian alley.

Let’s hope this does not turn out to be one of those areas where the design lends itself to any Venturi Effects where winds picks up speed between two masses. I’m sure they already considered any issues like that or maybe it's a non-issue altogether.

Yeah, it's clear they aren't happy with it.

I think any inclusion to the Crum building into the design, even small would help significantly or at the very least open up the plaza as someone said and put the computing elsewhere in the building itself. Too much is going on.

Yeh I think it's a massing issue mainly. The disrespect towards the Crum and Forster building also stands out.

Plus it has an overly inward/urban renewal facing to it.

Atlanta Aerial Construction Tour

Hope y'all are ready for some skyline views.

I took a helicopter tour of Atlanta Saturday. It's really an incredible way to take everything in for people interested in this kind of stuff. All pictures are by me, and can be reposted/reused however you want.

Sorry about glare in some pictures, or if I couldn't get the best angle. It's a very fast and overwhelming experience to be honest.

195 13th Street filed for lot consolidation, where consolidation is contingent on closing on the purchase of the land.

Nice photos!^^

Awesome pictures testarossa50. Atlanta is growing beautifully, my only wish is to see more skinny and tall towers like 3rd and Peachtree in the future.

Wow...those photos are incredible. Thank you so much for them. I'm going to use some of those photos to update construction threads on another website. Hope that's alright with you.

Amazing pics, excellent job, also incredible to see the mountain's in the distance, very very impressive as to those who think Atlanta is flat.

Fortunately AMLI be wrapping the parking deck with fins in a colored monochromatic scheme and will have some retail spaces (albeit shallow) facing Spring Street. I could see SCAD being able to utilize these spaces as gallery/studio spaces- considering it is called AMLI Arts Center.

Wow, what another disappointing parking deck in that part of town. Not sure how I overlooked that in the renderings.
