That wouldn't be a good idea.

Not sure, still a lot of rebar to go in and panels to be sent from the shop.

Philly mag has a one page feature about construction obstacles all over center city and this project was one of them. Approximate end dates for each project were also listed- they had this one listed at summer 2017- not sure what the author was thinking/smoking when he wrote that- obviously he hasn't bothered to walk by the site.

meaning the core is going to built using slip forms? If so, I wonder why that wasn't started in the basement, right on the slab.

Nice. Is that officially taller than 1919 Market?

Whu, is there lighting in place on the lower levels of parking? If not, is it a feasability issue? What has to be in place before it can be put in?

Are you wondering if the parking aspect of this project can open before the rest of the building is complete, as in soon?
I would bet "no". It would have to have sprinklers, ventilation and fire escapes as well as a easy way to drop ones wheels off to be parked, since its not a self park garage.
In your photos I usually see a lot of empty parking spots right below you.

No, just wondering if sprinkler and electric and all that stuff can happen at the same time as ground level pours above, or if it needs to wait until the core is rising above street level. Just general curiosity about timing.

As a former city planner, my knowledge of the construction process is minimal - my expertise is zoning, land use, final development plans. The construction aspect is all new to me.

Anyways, here's wonderwall (Dec 8th):

based on what I know you typically aren't going to see a lot of the trades on site that do system installation until they have enough work to work continuously. Starting to rough in the parking garage when the building is this early in construction doesn't make a lot of sense because that trade would run out of work relatively quickly. You need more floors above ground and elevators before you really can let the other trades loose on a project.

That's a Jaguar F-Type though... I know Ben has a Black Range Rover and Embiid also lives there. Good thing they both have city hall views with this building going up.

Yeah, according to an SI feature on JoJo from October he's moved out of the Ritz - it was a part of a dark Shirley-Temple binge drinking period for him.

He moved somewhere else in CC that, according to the article, you can see on the skyline from the 2nd floor of the Camden practice facility. Any guesses? I think that vantage would eliminate any Rittenhouse square building.
