I hope concord doesn't buy it, a building like that would do wonders for Surrey!

Park Boulevard. Finally something going in finishing up the complex. I'm liking the renders with actual businesses in place of the Concord Pacific sales office taking up everything. Pair that up with the HUB being built and this will be one very nice corner!

When is the HUB going to be built? There was much activity a few years ago but little that I have seen since.
Call me selfish, but I don't like the prospect of sharing amenities with other developments.

Isn't the area behind PA considered part of quibble creek? Or are they referring to the existing buildings on 99A just west of 138th? Sharing the amenities with more buildings could be beneficial given that the majority of owners/tenants don't use them with the exception of the gym (which each building has its own anyway). It will keep the fees down.

When the hub is fully developed, the area around king George will look amazing with all these high rises. And I don't think you will be sharing amenities with other developments.

From what I've read on this forum, they haven't secured enough long-term / anchor tenants to start building yet, which is really unfortunate.

That is too bad. The area would really benefit from what they originally proposed there.

It's probably better that the area slows down for a bit. There's been a crazy building boom and you don't want a glut of suites on the market. Plus retail will more likely want to locate there once they see how many new residential towers there are.

Lightbulb shrubs, trees, boulevards, curbs ...

The rendering, In which I can imagine in the future (and I'll be getting old by then) is really vibrant, and looks well-designed. So do the road and ramps.
One thing I want to mention, though, is that the roads be maintained like the ones in SanTa Monica, or Pacific Heights. Careful road, ramp and curb contruction is
as essential as the the trees, landscaping, and lighting. The streets should be more than just functional. They must be pleasant to drive on; and walk along, of course!

An illustrative plan from the Forsyth Park open house held last week shows 2 towers on the Park Boulevard site. So does suggest that the current application for a single 42 storey tower is just part 1, to be followed by a separate application for the other tower.

Also shows quibble creek park as much more accessible. Right now it is fenced off.

Thanks for the update. Definitely not bad for Surrey towers - and much better than Wall's pile going up on Richards St. now.

They will give you this information when you do your key pick up, but you're on your own for actually finding your parking spot and locker.

Hi all,

I just took possession of my PLAN C - Unit and I noticed my closet in the bedroom is smaller then what I see from listings online. It is supposed to be a double door closet. I believe concord made a mistake on my unit. There is clearly enough space to make the double door closet. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

My bedroom closet

Plan C1 looks like this

That looks more like the C1 plan to me. Was this the first time you saw your unit? Didn't they give you a walk thru before? Refer back to your disclosure statement.

My unit is Plan C and it says 47.8m2 in the purchase contract for my Strata lot number.

If it is Plan C, it would be 47.6 m2.

I added in the last photot to illustrate that my bedroom has the full usable space of Plan C. Plan C1 has minus 3 Sqft.

They gave me a walk through inspection and I asked this question directly but the concord agent does not know. I also emailed them and called them. Still waiting for a reply.
