Thank you, Byron. This, and its neighbouring buildings, have a rather "generic Vancouver" feeling to them, but they do add solidity and weight to downtown south.
This tower is becoming more and more visible from various locations. I took this pic from the alley between Harwood and Burnaby (at Thurlow) in the West End. It lines up with Drake Street. And yes, those are cherry blossoms on the left of the pic. Also, the bit of crane boom you can see on the left must be the Tate crane.

The balcony glass that seemed to be there (on the right side of the tower just above the podium) in my older pic is gone now. I took these pics (below) yesterday.
Although these two towers are nice and slender, I'd say the glazing is an overall disappointment. Not that it was expected to be beautiful based on the renderings/plans, but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
That's interesting that they installed and then removed two floors of balcony glass. It was definitely supposed to be yellow/gold in tint - not just in the renderings but it was mentioned countless times in the application.

Could it just be a manufacturing screw-up?
Could have been a mock-up. Get the sizing right on a piece before adding the more expensive colour?
Or they put it up hoping the City wouldn't mind and the city insisted they use the colour.
I REALLY hope it will end up yellow as otherwise this tower will look so poor. I also like the size and the slim profile, but my god, we need SOME color!
