How anyone could like a structure that radiates "cold", and appears prison-like is beyond me.

Sadly, if correct, that says a lot about the city's architects.

I received a holographic postcard from SkyCity yesterday. I'll do my best to describe it. It looks like it was taken from St. B featuring a shot of the Provencher bridge with P&M in the background. A regular postcard scene of the city. On the top left hand corner it says "Winnipeg Today" and if you tilt it, it says "Winnipeg Tomorrow" with SkyCity smack dab in the middle of P&M standing at about 90 storeys. I was a bit surprised at the inaccuracy of the photo. The uninformed might just believe that that's how it will change our cityscape and a very misleading sales pitch. Has anyone else gotten this in the mail?

They are not ripping the roof off. It's a separate building built on top of WS. I don't know how they are going to built it exactly but there will be no elevators going into the food court. The food court won't be closed. I suspect they will connect it enclosed to the three central elevators in WS and that will be the access to the underground. I have no idea about electrical or water hook up.
Maybe solar panels and bottled water.

While their will be partial demolition, they've long maintained that the mall will stay operational throughout construction, barring the odd mandatory tenant shift.

There probably are elevator cores in the current existing foundation of 300 Main. I expect them to extend these into the food court

Chamberlains space would seem like the location for elevator cores, no? Unless Roberto has some inside info. I would Imagine there should be some type of connection to the underground. Maybe there will be a re-configuration or connection where the skywalk comes across Graham and heads underground.

OK Maybe I should write about what I know for sure. They will be blocking off one lane of Graham and the sidewalk.
