Let's try this one more time. I was the one who posted that photo HERE. Daario then picked it up from here and posted it on CityPorn. But originally, it was posted on Penn's Instagram account (which is where I got it).

OK, are we straight now?

Love that you can actually SEE these lights, unlike Liberty! I hope they redo the Liberty I and II lights at some point. Obviously, LED can be done so that it's bright and visible. Plenty of other cities do it too (not sure if FMC is actually LED lights, but they're done something right).

I thought that originally, but with all of these different social media sites, I get lost and very confused. (You know. rolls eyes.) I'm not editing any more. Just gonna sit back and watch the pictures, and not give a damn where or who they come from.

They redid them a few years ago to take them off neon to save them a few $$$ - but they are almost invisible at night. It's a shame b/c with the neon they were really a beacon from almost anywhere in the region.

The building owner should get his $$ back from that LED contractor because he totally got screwed over. Terrible performance.

I saw them working on the "C" at ground level today on my way to work so we should be seeing the letters go up soon.

They were replaced almost 10 years ago from what I remember... articles were scarce or my google skills failing to confirm the exact date. Not that it makes it more likely to be replaced after a decade. I'd imagine Two Liberty's recent sale is the best shot we have at any near-term fix.

Nice pics. And nice view from up there. Anyway, this building definitely turned out to be as good as depicted in the renderings, if not better. It's always fun to watch a building come up over the months or years of construction, and this is a welcome addition to the skyline.

View from my apt. Came home after a walk around town on Oct. 30th, looked outside and yes, the FMC is up on the North side!

AND, as your photo shows, they've been installing the glass on the lower "crown"! Looks like they're almost ready to put a fork in this baby.

I noticed the signage today from the expressway. Not to shabby. The Bladerunner lover in me would have loved to see something that completely deviated from the style of the building, especially in a city with so little building top signage, but it definitely works with this skyscraper and the company itself.
