I see Moncton's Whatever-that-is, and respond with: The Victorian!

Bonus: La Hacienda! The Ranch!

Toronto's contribution on a theme! https://goo.gl/maps/SWyEzT77odC2

When I lived nearby there were always some very unsavoury people hanging outside the place too. I think it was a rooming house - not sure if it still is.

That one has a distinctly, uhm, Mediterranean touch. Although I don't know that Portugal qualifies as "Mediterranean".

Particularly since virtually all the Portuguese in Toronto are from the Azores for some reason!

Very true. The reason would be lack of opportunity, no?

I see your mildly ugly apartment complex with wooden colonade and present you with this beauty:

Looks Tronald Dumpian. Is that Melania in the 3rd floor battlement? Hiding from the small-handed Trumplestiltskin?

The building in the background is almost a candidate as well. Three floors of siding, nothing breaking it up. No window trim, and those awfully placed flesh colored panels.

Yes that building is also a candidate for this thread. I've posted the front of it before as it's quite Frankenhouse-ish. It's an ugly if interesting street they reside on as the house with the pallet jack fence and sarong wearing dude with the leaf blower is across from it.

And there's this famous house/shrine in Sudbury!

There was a news item recently about it as the property is for sale and the owner only wants to sell it to someone who will keep it as it is!!!

I'm tempted to give a pass to something so lovingly, whimsically ugly.

As I mentioned earlier the front is even uglier.

Across the street you have this lovely crash house thing. That stack of pallets is now a fence around that gravel lot which is currently overgrown with 3 foot tall weeds and has a camper parked in the middle of it.

Just to follow-up about that house/shrine: Here is a CBC article about it being for sale. Check out the photos as well.
