I think you're probably overestimating the renown of Michigan Stadium because you're in SW Ontario. Even once you get to Toronto, I doubt it's a stadium that people think of as iconic and spectacular. (Which are two fairly different things.)
As Americanized as Canadians are, the American stadiums Canadians think of right off the bat would be Yankee, Wrigley, Dodger and Fenway. So baseball stadiums.
For football stadiums it's probably Lambeau Field and the old Dallas Cowboys stadium, and for a humongous college football stadium it's likely the Rose Bowl that most people would name.
