I completely agree. The police monument in particular is ill-positioned and needs to be relocated. As for the furniture - it is totally ticky-tack, just like the things along the waterfront. I really wonder why we can spend $60 million on a designer library, but spaces like these that a far broader cross-section of both residents and visitors see, get this third-rate chintz.
