Haha, no, it's a thrust theater and an additional proscenium theater for theatrical plays, concerts, presentations, weddings, meetings, etc. Minneapolis and Denver both have a thrust theater in their portfolio. Denver also has an arena theater, similar to Hale Center Theater.

My proposed theater district addition would bring Salt Lake City up to a theatrical level on par with Minneapolis and Denver. Furthermore, it creates great synergy with the convention center, and would make the Salt Palace more desirable for some conventions who'd use the additional auditoriums.
