thanks for the set of Trois Rivieres. Often overlooked, but really nice things to see.

Exactly where the bullet is on this map, looking north-east.
It's one of the very few areas that survived the great fire...

It's very very cool. Too bad it's such a small part of the city though.

The only lame thing in that photo are those jarring 'tres' signs. Takes away from an otherwise beautiful street scene.

Well, I didn't know that wasn't common. As you say, I've seen it quite often in the province of Québec, but also in Europe. A Café is often understood as a place you go to have a coffee, but where you can also have a beer or a sandwich (light meal). It's not a "nightclub" but more -kind of- a social club. However, the traditional cafés or tavernes tend to disappear in favour of trendier concepts here. As for the Cafés/Nightclubs, I've never seen one... But I guess it does exist.

Here's a set about Saguenay

The city is a huge assemblage of a multitude of (more or less) small nodes that amalgamated through time. Port-Alfred, Bagotville (La Baie) ; Rivière-du-Moulin, Chicoutimi, Chicoutimi-Nord (Chicoutimi), Kénogami, Jonquière, Arvida (Jonquière), Lac-Kénogami, Laterrière, Shipshaw... and others that I forget.

A few of our second city. It's fourth in population now, I suppose, but it's the only one not within the St. John's CMA.

Not much to say about this page, but wow. Montreal and Quebec City? It's love.

And Saguenay! I had no idea how charming it was. I feel so lucky to live just down the highway from all this stuff.

Well, quite a few hours down the highway, but still.
