Awesome update, thanks!

So this is our first glimpse of the backside glazing.
Looks like what I expected.
It seems whiter, rather than greenish.
Is there a fritt on it?

I was also puzzled by it when I saw it. I'll have a closer look next time I'm over there.

One more pic from yesterday. A view from across the empty lot that will become the Arc.

Thanks.
It looks fritted - but that could be just the band covering the slab.
Strange means of attaching the curtain wall to the slab
Are the mullions also attached to the top of the slab? and the bracket underneath is an extra support?
I wonder how the ceiling and bracket will be covered / finished, especially where it meets the glass curtain wall.

More of the white fritted glazing on the north side.
my pics:

And the steel for the wave is all in, and taking shape nicely:

(I clearly do not have the hang of posting images - I click on the Insert Image icon when composing, paste the link to my publicly shared Flickr image, and the post ends up blank. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? What's the best way to share photos here?)
edit: I may have found the method?
edit: yep! whew. Very elaborate process in Flickr

Thanks for the updates!

I guess we know what the building's other sides will look like now. Clear glass with white accents. I think it will look very good when combined with the bronze. Most importantly, it seems like curtain wall throughout!

It also shows the first bit of curved glass.

Thanks for the pics!

The curved glass looks good.
The spandrel above the fritted level looks a bit "typical"
- but the fritt on the vision glass allows those panes to blend well with the opaque spandrel panes above.

Now the exciting part is to see the tallest section of the hotel grow to the table-top height of the condo across the street. That would make the copperish glass even more visible from across False Creek.

Why not clad the whole tower in copper-coloured glass?! The seafoam is just so seafoam.

The reflective copper is an awesome change from the typical Vancouver-green glassed tower.

I think it's just the regular high iron content glass with light grey spandrel.

The coloured glass is now appearing on the west facade over Expo Boulevard. I didn't see it today until I got down to ground level and there it was, peeking out from behind some trees (last few pics below).

Nice update, this one isn't slowing down. I never realized how underbuilt the Boston Pizza property is. I wonder what the chances of something decent sized being built there are?
