In case it makes you feel better, these photos have a huge amount of perspective distortion compared to what you see using your eyes in person. You can see Mount Baker on a good day from parts of metro Vancouver, and even make out features on the mountain, but it looks more like a small bump on the horizon.

This point of view is brutal in photos, but in person the scale and depth is impressive and beautiful. But yeah, never works in picture form, unless maybe you have a great lens.

Yeah I don't recall seeing mount baker that well from even Langley. Still, damn nice photo.
