Shortly after my last post we received an answer from customer care regarding a walk through. When we asked in August they said to contact them in Sept., now they say to contact them in Oct.. Anybody want to bet what their next answer will be?

Is occupancy for this project supposed to be for both towers at once? If so, by the last set of pictures posted here this seems pretty far off. Looks like for the 2nd tower they still had another slab or 2 to pour, install the rest of the windows. Do the interior framing for the remaining floors, the rough in for the trades then drywall. Also the takedown of the crane and the manlift. I work in high rise construction and it doesn't take much to put a project behind schedule. Especially when it comes to the finishing stage, once drywall and paint is complete there seems to be never ending touch ups because of damage that occurs. I think a November occupancy here would be a real stretch, but hopefully the sooner the better for those of you who have bought into this project.

My understanding is no. Occupancy was to be west tower first then east tower and townhouses second. That said, east tower has done some catch up as a result of delays in west tower. I'd imagine it is still the intention to occupy west as east tower isn't even topped off and a good 8 months give or take from final completion. West is a lot closer and unless something explodes, you'll likely see occupancy near end of the year and into January.

Like I've said before, inspections probably October/November with occupancy December/January. That's an educated guess on my part and I'd love to be proven wrong to the "sooner" side of things.

I think you have your East and West mixed up. The East tower was sold 1st, started 1st, and topped off in early March. I strongly suspect delays on the East tower were caused by transferring crew to the West tower.
As for inspections, Concord told us they were being carried out on the finished lower floors already as the building progressed upward, again this was back in March. Occupancy of the East tower was supposed to be 6-8 months before that of the West tower.

Not inspections by owners, by municipal building inspectors.

Correct I did mean it the other way my bad. Flip them, east first, west and townhouses second. As for occupancy, they are probably lined up then. Sounds like both are delayed. Typically when a tower tops out occupancy is between 6-8 months after. West is still about 3 floors to go + the mechanical so maybe 2 months away from being topped out. Then + 6-8 months after that.

Nice to see the lobby of the first tower finally coming together. Looks good in those photos. 100 Ave got a nice new landscaped/brick median as part of the project too.

Pic from today (Sep 12)

Side Note: You can see the excavation pit for what will be 2 x 6 storey condo buildings towards the left of this pic at 101 & 137A.

According to Concord, possibly not until the middle of Nov. Of course they might also send out another amendment after that with some obscure reason for more delays. Check that, they don't give reasons for delays, unless saying "these things happen" can be considered a reason.

Did concord actually say this ? If we are moving in on November.. how can it come down on November... it should come down on October at least right ?

The last amendment said construction might not be complete until Nov. 14, not that we will be able to move in then. They could even extend that, as they already have done. Remember when construction was supposed to be complete by June 30th?

sure hope so at this point i much rather be paying mortgage than rent. But it still looks like a lot of work the entire North/West side where the elevator shaft was the balconies is unfinished. Also saw them laying concrete for drive way into the parkade today.
