So the interesting question will be is the station renovations at commercial Broadway going to be done by then? If not the first few weeks could be chaotic with the increased passenger loads - at least we'll have 3 min headways now!!

Progress on Broadway seems to be extremely slow right now. I have no idea how one could expect that to complete by Christmas.

The Broadway station upgrades aren't scheduled to wrap up until summer 2017.

The reality is that until the robo-cars are available to the masses allowing you to get directly from A to B, there will be some less-than ideal commutes on Skytrain

To my knowledge, there isn't any funds yet to have the coquitlam-Guildford express running just yet.

ALSO: when translink is also set to implement the 95 B-line for post-Evergreen line integration.

I just find it to be a huge inconvenience that for the commuter who leaves from Nanaimo or downtown to travel to Lake City Way Station (or something like that) is now forced to transfer trains (either at Commercial or Production Way) because of the updated system. Aside from increased "operational risk" with problems and decrease in resiliency, interlining does actually affects frequency or the potential thereof. This doesn't necessarily apply to Vancouver per say given the relative simplicity of its system, but using London as an example, the Circle Line actually has terrible frequencies even during the peak, and it's really due to the nature of excessive interlining with the District, Hammersmith and City, and Metropolitan lines.

Can't speak for Moscow, but TfL's wayfinding principles indicate this is not necessarily the case. Using final destination solely as a means of guiding passengers actually is actually found not necessarily relevant for a passenger not going to the service's final destination.

This is great news for me as I take the 135 to get downtown. The 95 B-line will have a stop right nearby and skips at least 12 stops that the 135 used to stop at from my place to the Granville stop!

Most likely the Broadway line as Vancouver is more likely to vote Liberal as opposed to Surrey. Vancouverites aren't too happy with her party lately so if they want the votes they will have to work harder this time. I don't think they will be getting my vote this time, it's more likely NDP for me.

5 of Surrey's 8 electoral districts are held by Liberal MLAs. Delta North's MLA is a Liberal. Both of Langley's MLAs are Liberals. All three of Abbotsford's MLAs are Liberals.

The districts where the Broadway Line would run through are:

Vancouver-Fairview: NDP
Vancouver-Point Grey: NDP
