Does anyone have a daytime rendering of BP? I've only ever seen a nighttime render all lit up. I must say that when looking at BP from the south side of St. Patrick's Island it can only be described as "sleek" and it really does add visual interest to our skyline. Just have to be patient where the crown is concerned and am hoping it will look awesome when done.

Not sure if this is one of the projects that you have insider knowledge on or not but if it is can you let us know what will be installed over the steel stud wall that might change the appearance of the tower?

I haven't seen the wall assembly detail for the interior perimeter of the crown, but I'm willing to hazard a guess that it'll be drywall, painted white. Similar to EAP's crown.

I'm no expert, so my question might be a silly one, but if they seal all of that up with drywall, how would the HVAC deal with all of the heat that it would be needing to emit?

There's this fancy metal stuff you may have heard of, called ducting...

The chillers are in the middle of the roof, in a recess behind the crown glass arches. Know what a parapet is? Well the crown is a big fancy parapet that hides the chillers and other mechanical goodies. Similar to how we built the bow.

I noticed that they're installing horizontal panels on the upper half of the crown yesterday. I saw this new development looking from the east. Can't wait for the crown to be finished!!!!!!

Yeah - it will be particularly bad in the 8 months when the sun only barely breaks the horizon (given the low angle the sun beams will come in at).
